Make Yourself…Successful Together
Starting a business can be nerve-racking, but sometimes all you need is a little motivation and the right companions. Elise Wallas, Carrie Lundell, and Kelly Hitchcock from Sparkle Athletic, join us to discuss their journey of entering a successful business together and how they made their partnership work.
Carrie is a talented seamstress with a degree from BYU in fashion design. She worked at Old Navy in New York City for several years before moving to California with her family. She is a mom of four, with not enough time to sew, run, thrift, DIY, mountain bike, and crochet, but she does it all anyway. Carrie began running after the birth of her third child.
Carrie is our Chief Production Officer and Chief Creative Officer. She designs all of our products and manages the production.
Elise was hesitant about wearing a sparkly outfit because she's always been a competitive athlete. But peer pressure won her over and now she wear pink and sparkles almost every day. She loves running, biking, swimming, and everything in between. She has been running for over 20 years and loves hitting the trails with her dog as much as possible. She has two kids and a very active dog. Elise has an accounting degree from CSUF and is our CEO. She worked in a tax accounting firm before and during the beginning of Team Sparkle, now Sparkle Athletic.
Elise does the accounting, office work, taxes, customer service, expo management, and HR.
Kelly is a Cherry Coke drinking, snowboarding, marathon running triathlete, donut eating, Disneyland frequenting, OC living, mama of three, with an MBA degree.
